Valley View HQ is the perfect holiday destination for families or groups of friends. We are located just outside the village of Uplyme in the beautiful Devon countryside with Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast a walk/short drive away.

Valley View HQ provides luxury self-catering holiday accommodation of the highest standard. We have a 4-bedroomed, open-plan barn conversion; a 1- or 2-bedded grade II listed conversion for two; DIY livery/stables;  a working pottery/artists’ studio and photographic gallery in a wonderful rural setting.

The Barn

Leys at Valley View HQ offers luxurious self-catering accommodation for up to 8 people: 4 bedrooms, 4 bath/shower rooms and light, airy open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas.

The Barn offers all modern comforts and provides an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Devon countryside, Lyme Regis and the stunning Jurassic coastline.

The Annexe

The Annexe is a Grade II listed conversion and is perfect for two, with a characterful beamed combined living/dining/bedroom area with wood-burning stove, and a separate kitchen and bathroom.

A patio area in front of the property, sheltered by a stunning Magnolia, is the perfect position in which to enjoy an alfresco meal and the peace and tranquillity of the garden.

The Pot Place

The Pot Place was originally set up by Frances Hillier, and is now run by Penny Ireland.

While you are staying at Leys or in the Annexe, or if you live locally, you might be interested to visit the pottery studio for a workshop session, suitable for any age and complete beginners.

A place to enjoy nature and be inspired to be creative.

The Barn

Had a fabulous week, and even the weather was kind to us.  The Barn is very comfortable, with all the equipment we needed.  Logs for the barbecue, which we enjoyed in the evening sunshine.  Beach days at Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe.  Beer and Branscombe were dog friendly.  Lovely walk to Lyme Regis.

The Barn

Our holiday here has been wonderful – all our family came and stayed in the barn.  We have enjoyed ourselves very much.  The house has everything you could possibly want and MORE!  One of the best holiday cottages we have been to and we will be returning for sure.  The barn has been renovated to a very high standard, and credit to Jill for making us welcome.  Even the weather was good to us!!

The Annexe

We really enjoyed our stay – a lovely, cosy place with a very helpful, kind host. An incredibly relaxing break in a very clean and welcoming cottage. We had everything we needed, and the surrounding areas are beautiful. We’d love to come back!

The Annexe

“How exciting to be [nearly] the first guests!  We loved it here: the valley is absolutely stunning and the Annexe is gorgeous, really cosy and homely.  Jill has been great: really friendly and helpful – offering to get the cot for us, etc. – and we loved the vegetables waiting for us.  Walked down into Lyme Regis, and some walking around clifftops on Stonebarrow Hill and Golden Cap – what a beautiful area.  Would love to come back!”
