The Pot Place
The Pot Place was originally set up by Frances Hillier, and is now run by Penny Ireland.
While you are staying at Leys or in the Annexe, or if you live locally, you might be interested to visit the pottery studio for a workshop session, suitable for any age and complete beginners.
A place to enjoy nature and be inspired to be creative.
A great place to spend New Year and ideal for four couples, who each want their own bathroom! Well equipped, and Jill was most helpful. Thank you from us all. Will recommend.
Burke, Eno, Lambourne and Smallwood party
2 families, 5 kids, Thanksgiving. Fossils a plenty, wall-building, pottery, nature walks. So much fun. Will definitely be back. The house and hospitality were top notch. Sad to leave! Thanks for everything.
Masimore family, London
Thank you so, so much for a lovely break away from the craziness of the city. Everything was spotless. We walked, relaxed and switched off – this is truly possible up here!
Thanks, Jill, we’ll be back again.

We couldn’t have loved our stay at the Annexe more. The meticulous attention to detail in this place – from the teas to DVDs – made it feel like home. We loved exploring the property, searching for wildlife and sitting on top of the hill at night looking for shooting stars.
Pottery class is highly recommended and a great way to spend a rainy day. You’ve made the property absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
